Embedded in childhood nostalgia and rural youth culture, this piece navigates grieving the loss of my Dad as a young teen. Characters are each inspired by childhood nostalgia and memories I share with him. The surrounding hand rendered text offers a voice of reassurance, discussing the things I have learnt through the experience of growing into a young adult. I hope for individuals to gain a sense of comfort from this piece.
